The Triumvirate is organized by the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI), a non-profit organization devoted to developing North American dialogue and networks. Created in 2002, NAFI aims to build awareness on the issues raised by North American integration and identifies long term measures.

In this perspective, NAFI promotes multisectorial and trilateral dialogue between Mexico, United States and Canada in order to reinforce the dialogue between the actors concerned by North American integration.

The Board of directors of NAFI is composed of political and academic figures from all three North-American countries. The Triumvirate is not associated to any political party or movement and does not endorse any political ideology in particular.

The Triumvirate is an original idea of the NAFI. Its organization is thus assumed by the NAFI: planning, search for partners, logistics, recruitment of participants and coordination of the contents.
